Research profile
The research group is situated in the field of Romance literature and cultural studies and pursues research interests in environmental humanities. In reference to French and Spanish-speaking cultures and literatures, we focus on historical, contemporary, and futuristic conceptions of the environment and human-environment relationships. Some of our research priorities include nature, economy, and affect in the Spanish Enlightenment, ecological governmentality, environmental narratives, and futurologies in Central American literatures.
